The binding properties of mucilage obtained from cassia seeds were compared with other natural agents such as Acacia, Xanthan gum and Guar gum. And after the satisfaction of its usage, Cassia Tora Seeds are used as excellent binding agents.

Different properties such as phytochemical characteristics and physiochemical charaterisitics were also studied. Phytochemical characteristics including carbohydrates, proteins &flavanoids, also physiochemical characterisitics such as viscosity, solubility, swelling index, hydration capacity and many more such properties were studied.Researches have known to show, that the tablets formed with the cassia tora powder in powdered form had good content uniformity, hardness, disintigration time and that the drug release was as per the expectations.
